A Busy Week At Home

Our daycare is on vacation this week. So I decided that I would take the week off and stay home with Wyatt. It is amazing how fast a week at home goes. It's been wonderful though. We've played outside, mowed, baked and made a nice dinner for Daddy each night. We did have one day (Monday) in the Hills on the way back from our nice weekend. Here are a few pictures from our trip. I didn't take as many as I normally do. I must have really been relaxed!

Wyatt had fun bonding with his West River cousins!

Here is a Jon a little too perky after about a pot of Sturgis Coffee Company coffee.

Wyatt especially liked Ashley! And he sure had fun saying her name. We heard it alot!

James took a shady break at the water park!!

Snack time at the water park....hmm...pretzel & cheese

Here is the view from the deck in Belle Fourche.  If you look really close you can see the "Hills" way in the background.  Thanks Sally & James for sharing your home! We had a great time.

Scott enjoying the sunset!

On Monday morning on our way out of Spearfish we stopped at the Fish Hatchery. A great FREE destination if you are in the Hills. Kids love it. Wyatt enjoyed feeding the "phishy" as he says it.

Jon didn't really mind it either!

It was a pretty hot day when we headed home!

We made yet another stop on the way home - Wall Drug! And Jon found this treasure. Pretty hot with his flip flops huh? If I would have let him we would walked out with one of these, a pair of spurs and some leather chaps.

Lucky for me this was our big purchase. A famous Wall Drug donut.

Well we did get this too. It was adorable and I can't say no to him and his Dad!

He did not want to have his photo with Calamity Jane.

It gets to be a long day staring at this. This is pretty much what the scenery is from Rapid City to Mitchell. Then it just gets flatter.

You do get to cross the river in Chamberlain. And we stopped for dinner at McDonald's. Mm...doesn't that sound delish. Ask Jon sometime about our funny experience at the drive through at McDonald's in Chamberlain. It's a good one. His auctioneer skills came in handy.

Tuesday morning found us home, well rested and ready to play.
It's been a great week. It's just going too fast!
