Is There Sugar in Syrup....

It's been a while since i've been able to update our blog. I've got some great Christmas pictures to post - but first an adorable Wyatt story.

So Wyatt's new favorite movie from Christmas is Elf. I think we watched it 7 or 8 times. This is an incredible feat as sitting still is not really in our daily schedule. But he intently watched Elf each time it was on. We previously had various lines from the movie pop up in pieces in Wyatt's conversation with us and himself.  However, we haven't watched the movie for a while now. Last night at dinner Wyatt was in his high chair pulled up to the table with Jon and I enjoying soup and grilled cheese. The ketchup bottle was out on the table and I was just reading the list of contents to myself during a lull in the convo. I turned to Jon and said "Did you know there is High Fructose Corn Syrup in ketchup?" And without missing a beat Wyatt said "Is there sugar in syrup...YES!" Maybe you had to be there but it was hillarious.

Okay on to the pictures...

The beginning of present extravaganza. Lesson #1 learned this year - do not let Wyatt open the tractor first. He will be bored with all other gifts.

Wyatt was a help to anyone with a gift to open.

Then the snow came....and it seems to keep coming!

A very patient boy waiting to ride in the tractor and move snow with Daddy.

And Mommy & Daddy & Baby

Then more presents on Christmas Morning! Curious George Memory

And this one is my favorite! This is the farm set that Jon and I gave him.  He was so excited!

Our next stop Iowa!

All the Hardt cousins. A great picture - if only Wyatt wouldn't have stuck out his tongue!

Happy cousin Hunter even though it was past bedtime! He was a trooper.

Wyatt listening to his new book recorded by Nana B at his new table. Poor kid is deprived! :)

It was a wonderful Christmas!  We are very blessed!
We are recovering and preparing for a "big boy" bed transition this weekend!
Stay tuned....
