Christmas is Coming......and Deer Season is Over

The tree is up and has been for over a week. But I am just getting the pictures posted now. Jon was a huge help in getting the tree put together for the pregnant momma that loves Christmas! Thanks Honey! Wyatt was a big help as well!

 

Here is Wyatt holding down the box for us!

Wyatt wants to help all the time. He is going to be a big help when Baby arrives. Although he informed me the other day "no baby come!" I hope he just means "not yet!!"

The next picture cracks me up! A little background: Lately Wyatt wants to do everything Daddy does; load cattle, feed cattle, hunt deer, etc.... So Jon's spotting scope has been a permanent fixture on our dining room table as deer season has just wrapped up. Jon has spent much time spotting deer and strategizing his plans to get the mega buck. So Wyatt has also been looking at deer through the scope when Daddy is not. However usually the scope is pointed at the wall or floor. As in this picture.

However Wyatt insisted that he saw his deer! He then proceeded to jump down from the stool, grab his plastic John Deere toy pliers, point it out the window and make shooting noises. He then informed me that he shot his deer! This boy has got a great imagination!! 

Sad to say Jon did not get his mega buck this year. Sorry honey! 

Christmas is coming and what a wonderful time of year!

I'm already deliberating over what to bake!
